I want to go over a few super powerful ways you can do awesome Shopify Product Research with CJ Dropshipping.

What Are We Looking For:
Since CJ Dropshipping handles products from China, we’re looking for pretty much any product that might be intriguing to our niche. Remember, we can never find winners, but we can simply find products that might be intriguing, and therefore worthy of testing.
Price points don’t matter much as we can have a huge range of different priced items in our store to attract customers of all different types. The key is uncovering products with that intrigue factor.
I’d advise you to stay away from electronics for the most part because of battery-shipping regulations and low quality equipment, but if you find something great, test it out yourself first 🙂
Basic Search Options
Once you create your free CJ Dropshipping account, you’ll be brought to the main catalog of products. You have your basic search options here and you’ll want to start with your niche keywords. If you have a cat store, simply search for things like cat, kitten, cats, kitty, etc. This will bring up numerous product options that are all available to be dropshipped immediately.

Products You May Like To Sell
This is an underrated section inside of your CJ Dropshipping so I don’t want you to miss it! It’s basically personalized recommendations for what CJ Dropshipping thinks you might want to add to your store.
You’ll find this right after you login to your account in the Dashboard and it basically is a slideshow view of multiple products that you can add to your store in one click. These are existing products accessible to CJ Dropshipping for immediate fulfillment.
Using External Tools and Sites
CJ Dropshipping can handle everything from the fulfillment side of things like packaging, shipping, etc. They can source tons of products too – like the ones you might be spying on right now. This is a powerful product research example for CJ Dropshipping.
Using a spy tool like Sorting Social or Intelligynce search out popular products in your niche. You’re probably already doing this, but if not, you should definitely start immediately! It’s one of the most powerful ways to understand what is and is not selling in your specific niche.
Once you’ve found a product that is trending or selling well, head back over to CJ Dropshipping. Try a keyword search to find the exact product or try to find one closely similar to it. There are tons of manufacturers and warehouses that deal with the same types of products, but have minimal design changes respectively, so chances are you can find multiple options of the “trending” product you’re looking for.
If CJ has the product, great – immediately add it to your store!
