Facebook Officially Announces Call-To-Action Button For Pages

Facebook Page Admins will soon be able to choose from seven different Call To Action (CTA) buttons, giving marketers a new way to drive traffic directly to their site or app. These buttons, which will sit on top of the page’s cover photo, are a welcome addition to almost any Facebook Ads Strategy.

The seven call to action buttons that will be available for pages are:

1. Book Now
2. Contact Us
3. Use App
4. Play Game
5. Shop Now
6. Sign Up
7. Watch Video

“Pages are an important destination for people on Facebook, and we’re building new ways for people to interact with businesses through them. Today, we’re announcing a new call-to-action feature that will help pages drive business objectives.

Designed to bring a business’ most important objective to the forefront of its Facebook presence, call-to-action buttons link to any destination on or off Facebook that aligns with a business’s goals.”

Facebook allowed online retailer Dollar Shave Club to test the Call To Action Button on its page over the last three weeks. Brian Kim, Director of Acquisition at Dollar Shave Club, said that the button delivered 2.5x higher conversion rates versus other comparable social placements aimed to drive new user acquisition. That is powerful, and it’s no surprise considering the great placement Facebook has reserved for these new CTA buttons.
